Words are  powerful tools.

They penetrate one’s being

deeper than any sword can fathom.

So powerful that they can create or destroy

one’s sense of dignity and integrity.

Words can be gentle, loving and caring,

and at times can be hateful and thoughtless.

They can either build others up or tear others down.

They can be used to make friends or create enemies.

In short, they can spell our success or envision our failure.

The words of our childhood

give us picture of who we will become,

a foundation upon which we will stand,

how we will build our lives and beliefs.

Words, will become our habits and ultimately our destiny.

Careless words spoken without regard

leave a bitter taste and a poison of anger.

They tear a person down

spiritually, psychologically and emotionally.

They destroy families, marriage and relationships.

Words create joyful memories

and envision the gentle reminisces of the past.

Or they can be a clash of thunder

or bells of joy that touch our lives

from birth to death.

So, be careful with what you say, for words have wings.

They fly where you want them

and will return back to you

either with a sound of a beautiful euphony

or the hell of cacophony

Words are powerful, and only MAN

has the capability to articulate them

either verbally or through the written word.

Therefore, it is MAN’s mission to use this power

To build, motivate and encourage one another though them.
