I am

You are

He is

She is

They are

We are

Different

But why?

What is the purpose?

I look around

And I see,

People are fighting,

They are dying, suffering and hurting,

Because of differences

I raised my head to heaven

And I asked,

Lord, why have You made us different

In language, color, habits and doctrines?

How can all these differences be a unifying factor

So we can glorify You and praise You together

And lead a life filled with thanksgiving, peace and happiness?

Amazingly, I saw the beauty and blessings

Of racial diversity and its necessity

For man to continue living

Prosperously, abundantly and bountifully.

For each race has its own beauty,

Resources, strength

And blessings they can contribute to the world.

If this is the case,

How can we achieve

Universal peacefulness?

Triumph over greed and selfishness?

Egotistic attitude for power?

When can we open our hearts, minds and spirit

For what is good and beneficial for mankind?

My heart, mind and spirit

Is earnestly praying.

Let's all join our hands together,

Let's listen to each other's heart,

Let's look at other's sufferings and tribulations,

And let's all kneel and ask

For heavenly guidance and power of the Holy Spirit.

If only we

Would put God first

In everything we say and do,

Then we will be living in a world

Where peacefulness is the order of the day

Joy and happiness is the goal to achieve,

Loving, giving, helping and understanding is the code of life
